Spencer Parr, a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and former police officer, has turned his passion into a successful motorcycle customization business. Raised in a family of motorsport fans, Parr developed a deep appreciation for two wheeled machines at a young age.
Despite facing a devastating setback when he was diagnosed with ocular cancer and forced to resign from his job, Parr refused to let adversity derail his dreams. Instead, he channeled his energy into restoring and customizing motorcycles, specializing in Japanese twins and singles.
One of Parr’s most ambitious projects to date was a BMW R nine T Racer transformation. Commissioned by a client in California, Parr stripped the bike to its bare essentials, replacing the stock rear subframe with a custom built looped structure.
The resulting scrambler is a testament to Parr’s skill and creativity, combining classic styling with modern performance. Parr’s attention to detail is evident in every aspect of his work. From the carefully selected components to the flawless finish, each motorcycle that leaves his workshop is a masterpiece.
His commitment to excellence has earned him a reputation as one of the most respected motorcycle customizers in the industry. The cockpit has been modernized with a ProTaper handlebar and factory dials.
Rizoma turn signals and Motogadget blinkers enhance visibility, while the bike rides on laced Excel hoops wrapped in dual purpose Shinko E705 tires. The original brakes and engine remain unchanged, but a custom two into one exhaust system adds a touch of performance.
The bike’s frame is coated in nickel, and the rims are finished in gold. The light blue bodywork, accented with black and gold pinstripes, is a unique touch inspired by the owner’s helmet.
