Moto Adonis, a Dutch custom shop renowned for its stunning transformations, has once again outdone itself with their latest creation: a 1979 BMW R 100 RS. Stripping the classic Beemer down to its essentials, they retained only the fuel tank, discarding the original bodywork and suspension components.
In their place, they installed inverted forks and brakes from a Suzuki GSX-R K8, complemented by Yamaha MT-01 rotors. The original BMW wheels, now shod with Heidenau dual-purpose tires, remain, and a pair of YSS shocks provide adjustable rear suspension.
To accommodate these modern components, the team at Moto Adonis fabricated a minimalist subframe and custom mounting points, while LED lighting keeps the rear end clean and functional.
This BMW has undergone a stylish transformation by Moto Adonis. The most striking feature is the handcrafted saddle with its diamond stitched brown leather, but other details hint at the extensive work done. The license plate relocates to the right wheel hub, while a swingarm-mounted rear fender keeps things clean.
A custom mudguard complements the front end, the only bodywork addition besides the modified fuel tank. The tank boasts a new billet filler cap and ditches the BMW emblems, but the real magic happens in the cockpit.
