Faced with a tight budget and an undeniably dated 1994 BMW F650, Renato Frateschi of Frateschi Garage in Sao Paulo, Brazil, knew he had his work cut out for him.
The client desired a scrambler style transformation, but the limited funds of $4,500, half of which had already been spent acquiring the well-maintained Beemer with 40,000 kilometers, presented a significant challenge.

However, the solid foundation of the bike offered a glimmer of hope. Meticulous planning would be crucial before the metamorphosis could begin.
This once-ordinary BMW F 650 has undergone a dramatic transformation courtesy of Frateschi Garage. The most striking change is the repurposed fuel tank from a classic BMW R model, now gracing the front of the custom-built seat.

Beneath the tank reside the modern lithium-ion battery and cleverly hidden electronics. With a minimalist approach, the bodywork consists primarily of a high-mounted front fender and an LED headlight featuring Frateschi’s signature logo.
