Purpose Built Moto, a name synonymous with exceptional motorcycle builds, has once again delivered a stunning transformation. Their latest project, a Ducati 900SS, was entrusted to them by a client named Jamie.
The bike arrived at their workshop with a partially revamped engine, 18-inch rims with stainless-steel spokes, and a fascinating carbon fiber body kit comprising a new fuel tank, tail, and side covers. To further enhance performance, the motorcycle already featured a modern ignition system and Mikuni carburetors.
The custom Ducati Monster 797 was the canvas for a stunning transformation, with the team focusing on a minimalist, race-inspired aesthetic. A custom stainless steel exhaust system, culminating in reverse megaphone mufflers, replaced the stock unit.
The seat and tail were subtly trimmed for a sleeker profile, while a custom license plate bracket with integrated LED lights cleaned up the rear end. Up front, Tarozzi clip-on handlebars with custom switchgear, Accosatto controls, and a Tommaselli throttle replaced the original setup.
A multi-function dial, housed in a custom carbon fiber headlight bucket, completed the cockpit. The bike’s electronics were streamlined with a Black Box control unit, while a new fender and blinkers finished off the front end. The frame was painted red, providing a striking contrast to the raw carbon fiber bodywork, and classic Ducati logos adorned the fuel tank.
