BMW is set to redefine the premium midsize segment with updates to its all-electric BMW i4 and the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé. With advancements in technology and design, these vehicles aim to enhance driving pleasure and aesthetics while embracing emissions-free driving. Introducing a new BMW i4 variant featuring electric all-wheel drive marks a significant milestone.
Additionally, all combustion-engine versions of the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé now come standard with the eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. Both models undergo precise modifications to their exterior and interior, including upgrades to the BMW iDrive system with QuickSelect and additional digital services.
The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé receives enhancements that promote its sporting elegance, with premium interior ambiance and renewed sophistication. Standard equipment sees additions, while the options list is restructured for improved customization.
As pioneers in BMW’s flexible drive system architecture, the production of all model variants will take place at the BMW Group Plant in Munich, with a worldwide market launch scheduled for July 2024, targeting key markets such as the USA, Germany, Great Britain, and China.
Exterior updates include a newly designed BMW kidney grille with options for surface enclosures or mesh structures, complemented by strikingly designed headlights with enhanced LED units. Introducing Adaptive LED Headlights and Laserlight rear lights further increases the vehicle’s aesthetics.
Interior enhancements feature a BMW Curved Display and newly designed steering wheels, along with options for M-specific design features and upholstery choices. The reduction in buttons and controls, coupled with digitalization, offers a modern and intuitive user experience. The BMW i4 lineup expands with four model variants, including the BMW i4 xDrive40 with electric all-wheel drive and a range of up to 548 kilometers.
Charging capabilities include AC and DC charging options, along with suitability for Connected Home Charging. For the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé, a range of engine options is available, including petrol and diesel variants with mild hybrid technology. Standard chassis technology ensures sporty handling and driving characteristics, while an extensive selection of assistance systems enhances safety and comfort.
Standard BMW iDrive with QuickSelect, BMW Live Cockpit Plus, and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant offer intuitive operation and connectivity features, with options for BMW Live Cockpit Professional and My BMW App integration.
