BMW is introducing a new version of their M4 for 2025, called the M4 CS. It’s a sporty car designed for the track, with extra features to make it stand out. The CS stands for Competition Sport, which means it’s made for serious performance.
This new M4 CS has a more powerful engine than the regular M4 Competition. It has a 3.0-liter inline-six engine that produces 20 more horsepower, making a total of 543 horsepower. Even though it’s more powerful, it still has the same amount of torque, which is 479 pound-feet. It can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 188 miles per hour.
The M4 CS comes with special lightweight wheels and a suspension that’s been adjusted just for this car. You can also get carbon ceramic brakes and special tires for even better performance. The car has lots of carbon fiber parts, like the roof, hood, and spoiler, to keep the weight down. Even the exhaust is made of titanium to make it lighter.
BMW is introducing the M4 CS at two different races on May 10th: the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race at Laguna Seca in California and the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps World Endurance Car race in Belgium. Customers can start ordering the car at the end of May.
