New and less expensive BMW will offer less power in comparison to other electric BMW. The eDrive35 can generate 281 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. On the other hand, the eDrive40 and M50 have the horsepower of 335 ponies and 536 ponies, respectively. New BMW will take 5.8 seconds to accelerate from zero to sixty mph. The eDrive40 took just 4.8 seconds to accelerate to the same speed. If we talk about the range, the eDrive35 will provide 260 miles on a single charge, while the eDrive40 has a range of 301 miles. The small battery pack of eDrive35 is the reason behind the lower range.
