Cadillac has recently revealed the newly updated CT5 during the Detroit auto show. In this show, the details regarding changes which are going come to both the exterior and the interior have been unveiled by the company. Its time of release hasn’t been announced by Cadillac, but it will likely be available to buy in the summer of 2024, which is quite far away.

Electric vehicles are the future now, and Cadillac is embracing it with open arms with their electric Escalade iQ but the same couldn’t be said about the CT5, which will remain the same old-school gas-powered sedan that everyone knows and loves.

The Screen Has Been Beautifully placed That Gives More Control To The Driver

This is a very big update for this Sedan as this gives it a more robust design on the outside that makes it look phenomenal, and the interior has been modernized to the point that there is a huge 33-inch screen present on the inside.

This has brought new life into the interior, which has a very simple but gorgeous design. First, let us talk about the exterior, which has a new design with its horizontal headlights that have vertical LED elements within them.

The main headlight has two LED strips on the inside that are connected to the vent below, which in terms creates a triangle cutout on the exterior side. The Sport models have been equipped with the blacked-out trim, and the grille has been painted with black mesh as well.

There are two colors that will be available with 2025 CT5, which are Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic.

The Interior Has Been Updated To Meet To Modern Standards

As previously mentioned, the inside is where the biggest changes have happened, which includes a brand new 33-inch LED screen that takes almost all the dashboard. The screen is mostly towards the driver’s side, which acts as the digital gauge of the car while at the same time providing touch capability on either side of the steering wheel.

This is similar to the XT4, Lyriq, and gas-powered Escalade, in which this feature was introduced for the first time. The features that have been added here are a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, with Google applications built into the infotainment system.

This includes Google Maps as well as the Assistant. Furthermore, Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant is also present here in the system. There are many driver assistance features, which as blind zone steering assist, which is useful to avoid collisions when changing lanes, and there is also automated emergency braking.
