Just as Alfa Romeo seemed to have reached peak Italian influence in its model lineup, the Turin-based company has just revealed plans to introduce Tributo Italiano Editions for each of its three models. This means that the Giulia sedans, along with the compact Stelvio and subcompact Tonale SUVs, will now exude even more Italian flair on a global scale.
For those not versed in Italian, the term “Tributo Italiano” translates to Italian Tribute, perfectly encapsulating the essence of these new special editions. The color palette, true to their Italian roots, offers Verde Montreal (green), Bianco Alfa (white), or Rosso Alfa (red), mirroring the colors of Italy’s flag. If these hues don’t resonate with you, the allure of Alfa’s special editions might be lost.
Irrespective of the chosen paint option, each Tributo Italiano model comes with a black roof and a meticulously color-coordinated body kit. Alfa Romeo underscores that the latter was purposefully crafted for the plug-in-hybrid Tonale. The Giulia boasts new 19-inch wheels, while both the sedan and the Stelvio feature a distinctive black “V” element in their iconic grille. A common thread among all three special editions is the mirror caps adorned with an Italian flag motif.
Inside the cabin, black leather upholstery prevails, accentuated by red contrast stitching extending to the dash, doors, and center console. The only overt indication of their unique status is the “Tributo Italiano” embroidery on the front headrests.
Scheduled for release in the U.S. in the second quarter of the upcoming year, the 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia, Stelvio, and Tonale will be available with the exclusive Tributo Italiano treatment. While pricing details are yet to be disclosed, Alfa Romeo hints that these special editions will command the top tier of their respective lineups. This implies that the Giulia version could surpass $54,000, the Stelvio might exceed $60,000, and the Tonale could be priced over $51,000.
