Phil Parsons’ 25-year-old son, Carson Parsons, is set to pilot the No. 75 Chevrolet Silverado for Henderson Motorsports in the upcoming NASCAR Truck Series. While the number of races he’ll compete in remains uncertain, the truck will prominently feature sponsorship from Food Country USA.
Carson Parsons, with a racing lineage from his father Phil and his uncle Benny Parsons, boasts an impressive family background. Phil Parsons, a seasoned racer with over 200 Cup races and nearly 300 Xfinity races, secured one Cup race victory and two Xfinity race wins during his career.
Carson Parsons has participated in 11 NASCAR Truck Series races, achieving his highest finish at 17th. His experience extends to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where he has competed in 65 races, securing a best finish of eighth.
Henderson Motorsports, which ran eight races last year with drivers Parker Kligerman and Sean Hingorani, has clinched two Truck Series victories, both credited to Kligerman. The triumphs occurred at Talladega in 2017 and Mid-Ohio in 2022.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Carson Parsons shared on social media, “I’m so excited for the opportunity to drive the Henderson Motorsports No. 75 Chevy this season in the NASCAR Trucks. I’m looking forward to representing Food Country USA and so many other great organizations in our quest for checkered flags. Can’t wait to get to work at Daytona!”
