BILY BOLT ON TOP AGAIN AT SUPERENDURO IN GERMANY

Billy Bolt of Husqvarna Factory Racing continued his winning streak in the 2024 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, securing the overall victory at round three in Riesa, Germany.

Despite an injury to his left knee sustained from an awkward landing during practice, Bolt persevered, winning two out of three races on his FE 350 and widening his championship lead to 16 points. The defending world champion’s determination was evident as he faced uncertainty about his ability to compete after the practice incident.

In the opening race, Jonny Walker took an early lead, but Bolt overtook him in a rock garden. Despite riding with an injured knee, Bolt managed to reclaim the lead from Walker, who encountered brake pedal issues, securing the win with the fastest lap.

The second race featured a reverse grid start, with Bolt maneuvering through the pack to seize the lead after Walker faced difficulties on a tire obstacle. In the third race, Walker secured a win, earning him second place overall for the night. KTM’s Mani Lettenbichler finished third overall but was not a contender for the top spot.

Lettenbichler switched to a 2-stroke for the German round, feeling more comfortable despite a first-turn crash in the final affecting his results.
