Netflix is set to release a new documentary series, NASCAR: Full Speed, providing an inside look at the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs. Following the success of its Formula 1 series, Drive to Survive, the streaming platform will showcase the intense competition of America’s most popular motorsport.

Produced by Connor Schell, Aaron Cohen, Ben Kennedy, Tim Clark, Matt Summers, Tally Hair, and NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., the series captures the aggressive racing, skillful maneuvers, and high-speed action of NASCAR. Senior Vice President Tim Clark emphasizes the competitiveness of the sport, highlighting the drivers’ abilities to navigate at 200 miles per hour amid a field of 38 cars.

NASCAR: Full Speed is scheduled for release on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 8 am GMT, five days before the NASCAR pre-season exhibition race at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum on February 4.

The documentary features prominent drivers such as Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, Bubba Wallace, Ross Chastain, William Byron, Tyler Reddick, and Christopher Bell. Each racer’s achievements and background are briefly outlined, giving viewers insight into their careers and accomplishments.

NASCAR: Full Speed will be available on Netflix, with subscription prices starting at $6.99 per month. The official trailer can be viewed on YouTube.

The series precedes the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series, commencing with a pre-season exhibition race on February 4 at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. The season officially kicks off with the Daytona 500 on February 18 at the Daytona International Speedway, featuring 36 points-paying races, a ten-race playoffs, and concluding with the season finale at Phoenix Raceway on November 10.
