Karam, aged 28, has started in a total of 25 NASCAR Xfinity Series races.
He made his entry into the series in 2021, running four races initially. He expanded his participation to nine races in 2022 and 12 races in 2023. Five different teams provided Karam’s starts, with Same Hunt Racing offering his best performance.
In a gripping finale at Road America last year, he nearly tasted victory, ultimately achieving a personal best with a fourth-place finish. Karam will return with Sam Hunt in 2024, with plans to run a partial schedule once more.
This will incorporate the season’s first NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Daytona International Speedway. Karam had previously secured a top-five result at this track in his 2022 debut.
Sporting the red and green colors, he will drive the No. 26 CRC Auto Brakleen vehicle.
Apart from NASCAR, Karam is a seasoned open-wheel racer as well, with 25 IndyCar starts under his belt. He has also made nine appearances in the Indianapolis 500. His career-high performance in the Indy 500 saw him placing seventh in 2021.
He achieved a career-best third place in the 2015 IndyCar race at Iowa. Adding to his impressive career, Karam won the Indy Lights (now referred to as Indy NXT) title in 2013.
Moreover, Sam Hunt Racing has recently revealed a multi-race agreement with Jeffrey Earnhardt for the 2024 season.
