The Lagos State Government demonstrated its commitment to excellence and efficiency by presenting GAC-branded official vehicles to the Chairmen and Members of Statutory Commissions in the Lagos State Public Service. The presentation took place at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Secretariat, Alausa-Ikeja, in a ceremony held on Tuesday.
Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, represented by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, emphasized that this event signifies a significant milestone in the administration’s dedication to ensuring the well-being and welfare of the entire workforce in the Lagos State Public Service.
The Governor highlighted that the provision of these official vehicles aligns with the government’s commitment to meeting the operational needs of the Chairmen and Commissioners, thereby enhancing their productivity and efficiency.
“These vehicles will not only fulfill their operational requirements but will also undoubtedly boost the productivity and efficiency of the Chairmen and Commissioners, meeting their specific needs,” said Governor Sanwo-Olu through Mr. Bode Agoro during the presentation.
Mrs. Victoria Mopelola Peregrino, Chairman of the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), spoke on behalf of the other Chairmen and Commission Members. She expressed deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for the extraordinary gift of the official vehicles.
Peregrino noted that this gesture would have a profound impact on their daily lives and emphasized the touching belief and willingness of the Governor to go above and beyond.
“We are humbled and honored to be the recipient of such an exceptional gift,” Peregrino added.
The official vehicles were presented to the Chairmen and Members of various Commissions, including the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Lagos State House of Assembly Commission (LAHASCOM), Lagos State Universal Basic Education (LASUBEB), Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Health Service Commission, and The Lagos State Audit Service Commission.
The recipients expressed gratitude and acknowledged the positive impact these vehicles would have on their roles and responsibilities within their respective commissions.
