Ford Mustang: Last Standing Muscle Car; Challenger and Camaro Revival Rumors

It’s nearly impossible to discuss contemporary muscle cars without acknowledging that the Ford Mustang stands alone as the only one still in production. The seventh generation of Ford’s iconic pony car continues to roll off the assembly line, while both the Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro have ceased production.

The Challenger and Camaro bid farewell to production at the end of the previous year. However, there are plans for the Dodge to make a comeback, potentially under the Charger nameplate, with a new design featuring both electric and gasoline powertrains.

As for the Camaro, although there’s no imminent return in sight, rumors suggest a new generation could emerge, possibly incorporating both electric and internal combustion engines, aligning with GM’s statement that the Camaro’s story is far from over.

Despite their production discontinuation, enthusiasts of these V8-powered machines continue to enjoy them, with both the Challenger and Camaro remaining popular choices at drag strips domestically and internationally.
