The configurator for the 2025 Lexus UX in the US is now live, confirming the price increases following the introduction of an enhanced model late last year.
For the 2025 model year, the base UX 300h starts at $36,340, which is $1,000 more than the 2024 UX 250h. Stepping up, the UX 300h Premium for 2025 is priced at $39,540, marking a $1,740 difference from its 2024 counterpart.
The price hikes become more significant with the F Sport models. The 2025 UX 300h F Sport Design is listed at $40,290, a $2,490 increase compared to the 2024 UX 250h version.
Meanwhile, the top-tier 2025 UX 300h F Sport Handling comes in at $44,805, which is $2,035 more than last year’s 250 variant. These prices are for the front-wheel-drive models.
Opting for the all-wheel drive UX 300h incurs an additional $170 increase compared to last year, now adding $1,570 to the respective price tags (compared to $1,400 in 2024). These prices exclude the $1,150 delivery and handling fees.
The price increase accompanies enhancements in power and efficiency, courtesy of the same 2.0-liter hybrid setup found in the Corolla Cross Hybrid. This elevates the UX 300h’s output from 181 to 196 horsepower.
Additionally, the 2025 model year sees a shift to a lithium-ion battery, upgrading from the previous nickel-metal hydride. These updates result in improved acceleration times: 8.0 seconds for FWD and 7.9 seconds for AWD, which is 0.4 seconds quicker than the 2024 model.
FWD 2025 models boast an estimated combined fuel economy rating of 43 mpg, a slight improvement over the UX250h’s 42 mpg, while AWD variants promise 41 mpg.
The latest iteration of Lexus Safety System+, version 3.0, is included in the 2025 update, now featuring the Safe Exit Alert, akin to Ford Mustang’s Exit Warning Alert.
For those seeking alternatives due to the price increases, the 2024 model UX 250h remains available in Lexus’ inventory, depending on your location.
