Porsche’s Panamera model has been a big hit since it first came out around 15 years ago. Last year alone, they sold a whopping 34,020 units, which is more than ten percent of all the cars Porsche sold that year! This success convinced Porsche to keep investing in the Panamera, and they just unveiled the third generation of the car.
They recently introduced two new versions: the 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid. These cars have better engines and more power compared to the older versions. The 4 E-Hybrid has a gasoline engine and an electric motor that together produce 464 horsepower, while the 4S E-Hybrid is even more powerful, making 536 horsepower.
Both new models have bigger batteries that let them drive longer distances using only electricity. You can charge them up at home, and it only takes a little over two hours. These cars also have special driving modes for different situations, like driving in sporty or eco-friendly ways.
The 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid come with different features and options to choose from. They’re already available for order in Europe, but we’re still waiting to hear when they’ll be available in the U.S.
We don’t know how much they’ll cost yet, but to give you an idea, the regular 2024 Panamera starts at around $106,900 in the U.S. And Porsche hasn’t said anything about when they’ll reveal the fourth E-Hybrid version.
