In 2024, Stellantis made significant changes to the Gladiator lineup. Specifically, they opted to replace the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. The gasoline engine can be paired with either a manual transmission from Aisin or an eight-speed automatic from ZF.

Featuring the redesigned front grille of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler, the mid-size pickup truck is now available for configuration in the United States starting at $37,895, plus a $1,895 destination fee. This puts the Sport grade at a minimum of $39,790, while the Rubicon X starts at $64,890.

Prices are expected to increase next year according to the hourly agreement between the UAW and Stellantis from November 2023.

There are plans to upgrade the Wrangler 4xe in 2025 and introduce a Gladiator 4xe in 2025, with further developments leading to the replacement of the JL Wrangler with the J70 Wrangler in 2028, which will feature battery-electric and range-extended electric powertrains.

For the 2024 model year Gladiator, the power output stands at 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet (353 Nm) of torque. However, it’s anticipated that the 2025 upgrade will push power into the 400s.

The EPA estimates a range of 22 miles (35 kilometers) without intervention from the Pentastar six, while with the combustion engine, starter generator, and traction motor working together, the estimated fuel efficiency is 49 miles per gallon equivalent (4.8 liters per 100 kilometers).

The Sport grade offers 17-inch steel wheels, 32-inch tires, a premium canvas top, side curtain airbags, fog lamps, eight audio speakers, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 2.72:1 transfer case. Upgrading to the Sport S adds power door locks and windows, keyless entry, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning.

The Willys and Mojave editions, derived from the Sport S, offer enhanced off-road capabilities. The Willys includes a rear locking differential, while the Mojave features a selectable high-speed rear locker, FOX internal bypass shocks, hydro jounce bumpers, high-clearance fender flares, rock rails, and more aggressive front seat bolsters.

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator is offered in nine different paint colors and is outfitted with the Uconnect 5 system in all trim levels. The Mojave X and Rubicon X models come with navigation as a standard. Jeep dealers sell American Expedition Vehicles upfit packages.

The most severe is the Level II package, which is limited to the Rubicon and Rubicon X and improves off-road capability with Savegre II wheels, a winch, 37-inch BFG tires, and other features.
