Mulliner’s latest masterpiece christened the ‘Kingfisher’ Bentayga EWB, is based on the Bentayga EWB Azure V8 First Edition, a limited-time special edition of Bentley’s pioneering SUV, available for only twelve months.

Phill Dean, Mulliner’s Design Manager, elucidates, “With a Mulliner commission, anything is possible,” detailing the inspiration behind the couple’s selection of the unprecedented two-tone paint finish for their bespoke vehicle.

“We initiated discussions on the specifications at the Newport Beach showroom, but it soon became apparent that we required additional time to meticulously refine every aspect. We resumed the commissioning process at the clients’ residence—we concluded around 1:00 am,” he recollects.

Externally, the ‘One of One’ edition Bentayga showcases the regal Kingfisher blue hue contrasted with an Onyx (black) finish adorning the bonnet, roof, and upper body. The dual-tone motif extends to the 22-inch ten-spoke wheels, finished in Kingfisher and Beluga.

Internally, the couple opted for a bespoke four-seat configuration featuring Bentley’s airline seat specifications for the rear seats, along with a Naim for Bentley audio system and an opulent cabin adorned in a striking combination of Mandarin and Imperial Blue leather.

Bentley reports that the two-tone exterior finish showcased on this Bentayga EWB is now available as a factory option, exemplifying instances where customer preferences have influenced the company’s product offerings in terms of color and trim.

In 2023, approximately 75 percent of the vehicles manufactured at Bentley’s esteemed Dream Factory in Crewe, England, were infused with Mulliner touches—a notable increase of 43 percent in Mulliner content compared to 2022.
