Honda is optimistic about its prospects in the US automotive market for 2024, with January’s sales showing a significant 12.7% increase for the brand, totaling over 84,000 units sold.
The CR-V and Accord hybrids marked their best-ever January sales, with the compact crossover SUV soaring by 31.6% and HR-V deliveries skyrocketing by 49%. Even the Civic experienced a surge of 23.6%.
Looking ahead, Honda plans to unveil the enhanced Odyssey minivan, introduce the Prologue EV crossover SUV, and launch the CR-V Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCEV) later in the year.
However, the most significant move is the arrival of the refreshed 2025 Civic, featuring a hybrid version. Speculations arise about the possibility of a twelfth-generation Civic by the 2027 model year, with digital car content creators like Vince Burlapp envisioning hybrid, PHEV, and EV options to keep pace with evolving trends in electrification.
