Following the success of the Creta in India, Hyundai aims to elevate its appeal with the introduction of a sportier variant, the Creta N-Line.
This initiative mirrors the brand’s previous forays into the N-Line concept with models like the i20 N-Line and Venue N-Line. Set to debut in March, Hyundai has offered a sneak peek of the N-Line, providing enthusiasts with a glimpse of what’s to come.
Creta N-Line Teaser
Hyundai’s teaser video hints at what the Creta N-Line has in store, albeit without revealing too much detail. Notable features include a striking glossy blue color option and connected LED daytime running lights (DRLs) with a distinctive LED strip in the center, reminiscent of the standard Creta.
Design Elements
While official images are yet to be released, spy shots of the Creta N-Line offer insight into its design. Anticipated changes include a smaller, sharper grille adorned with an N-Line badge, along with a revamped bumper featuring square chrome accents and a sporty skid plate.
Red-colored side skirts will add a dynamic touch, while diamond-cut 18-inch alloy wheels, adorned with red brake calipers, are expected to replace the standard 17-inch ones. At the rear, a new diffuser, spoiler, dual exhausts, and red accents will further enhance the N-Line’s aesthetic appeal.
Performance Specifications
The Creta N-Line is likely to retain the potent 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine delivering 158 hp power and 253 Nm of torque, already found in the standard model. However, Hyundai may pair this engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox in addition to the existing 7-speed DCT transmission.
Interior Features
Spy shots suggest that the Creta N-Line will boast a sporty all-black interior theme, replacing the conventional beige and grey scheme. Expect a black dashboard with red accents and seats adorned with red stitching.
Feature-wise, it is likely to mirror the standard model, offering twin 10.25-inch infotainment and driver instrument displays, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, level 2 ADAS, and an electronic parking brake.
Price and Launch Date
While Hyundai has not disclosed the exact pricing, the Creta N-Line is anticipated to start above 17 lakhs (Ex-showroom). Scheduled for launch on March 11 in the Indian market, the N-Line variant aims to compete with the GTX+ and X-line variants of the Seltos, raising the bar for performance-oriented SUVs in its segment.
