Originally a stunt car in the James Bond movie Spectre nearly a decade ago, the Jaguar C-X75, re-engineered by Ian Callum, has finally obtained road-legal status after never venturing onto public roads except for closed traffic scenes in the film.
This particular car starred in the Spectre blockbuster, captivating audiences with a thrilling six-minute night chase scene through the streets of Rome. Driven by the new Spectre agent Hinx, the C-X75 faced off against James Bond’s Aston Martin DB10, showcasing its performance prowess under cinematic conditions.
Surviving the rigorous stunts of the movie, the C-X75 fell into the hands of engineer Ian Callum and his team, who meticulously reworked the car for road use.
Modifications included adjustments to the engine, exhaust, and bodywork to meet legal standards, ensuring its transition from the silver screen to real-world roads.
The road-legal Jaguar C-X75, with its storied history and exceptional engineering, will make its public debut at Bicester Heritage’s Scramble event, marking a new chapter in its remarkable journey.
