Tesla’s refreshed Model 3 sedan, which debuted several months ago, is finally making its way to U.S. markets after its initial launch in Europe and China. The newly updated 2024 Model 3 is now available for ordering through Tesla’s website, with deliveries anticipated to commence this month.
The most noticeable enhancements are evident in the exterior, with redesigned headlights and taillights significantly enhancing the sedan’s aesthetics.
Inside, notable additions include ambient lighting, two wireless smartphone charging pads, an extra front air vent, a revamped steering wheel, an 8.0-inch touchscreen for rear-seat passengers, standard heated and cooled front seats, and an upgraded audio system.
Tesla has also made improvements to the interior material quality and added extra sound-deadening material to reduce cabin noise.
The lineup retains the rear-wheel-drive Standard Range model, boasting a claimed range of 272 miles (or 248 miles with 19-inch wheels), priced starting at $40,630. Optional features include a $1000 white interior, $1500 19-inch wheels, and $6000 Enhanced Autopilot driver-assistance features.
The all-wheel-drive Long Range model now offers an extended range of 341 miles (or 305 miles with 19-inch wheels) and starts at $47,630. Details about a revised Model 3 Performance variant have yet to be revealed, leaving enthusiasts eager for further updates on this more powerful version.
Anticipated updates to the Tesla Model Y crossover are expected to follow suit, although there haven’t been any sightings or official announcements regarding its revisions or timeline. As such, enthusiasts await any news regarding the Model Y’s enhancements.
