The INEOS Grenadier once again showcased its resilience by clinching victory in the Truck/SUV category at the Alcan 5000, a grueling 10-day endurance rally spanning a 5,000-mile route across northern US and western Canada. In the 40th Anniversary rally, 39 teams, including 17 in the Truck/SUV category, competed fiercely.
Among them was the INEOS Grenadier, making its inaugural rally appearance within a year of the 4×4 class’s inception.
Enduring treacherous conditions including snow, frost heaves, and extreme temperatures, the Grenadier, piloted by Andy and navigated by Mercedes Lilienthal, triumphed with its stock configuration, albeit fitted with aftermarket Michelin X-Ice Snow tires and optional accessories from INEOS.
The TSD rally, emphasizing precision over speed, traversed public roads and trails at prescribed speeds. Despite challenges, the Grenadier proved its mettle, praised for its performance even in deep snows and icy slaloms.
