Land Rover has announced a safety recall for the Discovery Sport due to an issue with the lower A-pillar bolt. Specifically, 47 units produced for the US market between November 10, 2023, and January 23, 2024, may have improperly fastened bolts, compromising structural integrity and safety.
The affected vehicles were identified following a review of production data, prompting immediate action from Land Rover. Dealerships will inspect and secure the bolts at no cost to owners, with notifications scheduled to be sent out soon.
Despite this setback, Land Rover continues to innovate, with plans to transition the Discovery Sport to the EMA electric vehicle platform. This shift reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainability and future-focused design.
Powered by a range of engines, including turbo diesel and plug-in hybrid options, the Discovery Sport offers versatile performance and premium amenities for discerning drivers.
