TechArt has unveiled its latest addition to the tuned 911 family, following the ultra-limited TechArt GTstreet R Flyweight from the previous year. This new offering, known as the GTstreet R Touring, presents a refined take on high-performance customization for the Porsche 911 Turbo S.
Building upon the foundation of the original GTstreet R introduced in 2021, the Touring version maintains the same potent engineering prowess but opts for a more subtle approach to aerodynamics, aligning with Porsche’s GT3 line ethos.
It caters to enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance without the bold styling cues of its predecessors.
While retaining the carbon fiber body kits synonymous with the GTstreet R range, the Touring edition embraces a more restrained aesthetic. It swaps the intricate multi-tiered wing for a sleek carbon fiber ducktail spoiler, significantly lighter than the standard 911 Turbo’s wing. Enlarged cooling ducts optimize airflow to the upgraded twin-turbo flat-six engine.
TechArt offers two tuning options for the GTstreet R Touring: enhancing power through improved turbos, upgraded ECU, and optimized transmission management. The TA092/T1.1 configuration elevates the 3.7-liter flat-six to 700 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, representing notable gains over the standard 911 Turbo S.
For enthusiasts craving even more performance, the TA092/T2.1 upgrade boosts output to an impressive 790 hp and 701 lb-ft of torque, enabling lightning-quick acceleration and a blistering top speed of 217 mph.
To complement the enhanced power, TechArt enhances handling by widening the track and lowering the suspension while offering an optional adjustable coilover kit for further personalization. The package includes TechArt’s lightweight Formula VI forged center-lock wheels, contributing to both performance and aesthetics.
Inside the GTstreet R Touring, customization options abound, with a range of premium materials available for upholstery, including leather, heritage fabrics, and bespoke seat pipings.
Limited to just 25 units, the GTstreet R Touring conversion package offers exclusivity akin to its predecessors, albeit slightly more accessible. Each conversion begins at 98,250 euros, in addition to the standard 911 Turbo S’s MSRP.
With deliveries slated to commence in May 2024, enthusiasts can soon experience the unparalleled blend of performance and refinement offered by the TechArt GTstreet R Touring.
