MINI has swiftly transitioned from the unveiling of its highly anticipated 2025 Cooper to the commencement of assembly, marking a significant milestone in its production timeline.

The inaugural production model was ceremoniously driven off the assembly line by none other than Charlie Cooper, the grandson of John Cooper, whose legacy inspired the iconic model’s name.

Manufactured at MINI’s Oxford plant in the UK, the event was attended by Stefanie Wurst, the brand’s chief, who emphasized the significance of this milestone in reaffirming MINI’s commitment to its heritage while embracing a dynamic future of driving.

Since its inception in 2001, over 4.4 million modern MINIs have been produced in Britain, including approximately 150,000 battery-electric variants manufactured between 2019 and 2023.
