Gone are the petrol-powered UX 200 and UX 250h models, replaced by the more potent UX 300h hybrid variant and the all-electric UX 300e. The decision reflects a shift in consumer preference towards electrified powertrains, aligning with Lexus Australia’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
The UX 300h hybrid receives a substantial power boost, now delivering 146kW of system output, thanks to upgrades to its 2.0-litre hybrid drivetrain. Alongside the enhanced powertrain, a new lightweight lithium-ion battery contributes to improved fuel economy, with the UX 300h achieving impressive efficiency figures of 4.2L/100km for 2WD and 4.4L/100km for AWD variants.
