SEAT has introduced the Arona FR Limited Edition, offering enthusiasts a special variant of the popular crossover. With pricing starting at £27,480 (equivalent to $35,160) for the manual transmission model, SEAT has opened order books for the UK market.
The Arona FR Limited Edition is not positioned as a range-topping model, priced slightly below the Xperience Lux trim, which starts at £28,250. Other trim levels in the Arona lineup include the Xperience, FR Sport, FR, SE Technology, and SE, with prices ranging from £22,450 to £28,250.
Available with a 1.0-liter TSI gasoline engine producing 115 ps (113 hp/84 kW), the Arona FR Limited Edition offers exclusive features such as 18-inch alloys in Cosmo Gray, Graphene Gray paint finish, front sports seats, Beats audio system, and a 10-inch digital cockpit. While SEAT initially mentioned a 1.5-liter engine paired with a DSG transmission, this option appears unavailable for the UK market.
As SEAT’s aging product, the Arona may soon reach the end of its lifecycle, with rumors suggesting the FR Limited Edition could mark its swansong. While unconfirmed, speculation indicates that SEAT may not produce a second generation, potentially paving the way for a Cupra successor with electric powertrain technology.
