INEOS recently unveiled a five-seater double cab Chassis variant of the Grenadier Quartermaster pickup truck, targeting specialist conversion firms for commercial, emergency, and leisure applications.

Developed in parallel with the standard Quartermaster model, this chassis cab variant combines off-road capability with versatile load-carrying capabilities, ensuring comfort and refinement in diverse settings.

At first glance, the Grenadier conveys the essence of a rugged truck, embodying attributes reminiscent of iconic models like the Land Rover Defender. Designed to rival established off-road vehicles such as various Land Rovers, the Toyota Land Cruiser, and the Jeep Gladiator, the Grenadier exemplifies a blend of robustness and versatility.

To complement its capabilities, the Quartermaster specification introduced a four-door pickup version with an extended wheelbase, offering comparable towing capacity to the Jeep Gladiator.

Building upon this foundation, the Quartermaster chassis cab retains the same wheelbase and towing capabilities, providing a flexible platform for diverse applications.

Key features include heavy-duty solid beam axles, a two-speed transfer case, and up to three locking differentials, ensuring optimal performance in various terrain conditions.

Power options comprise two BMW 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engines, available in gasoline or diesel variants, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Quartermaster chassis cab’s versatility extends to its cabin, incorporating components sourced from BMW, such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with iDrive-like functionality and a BMW-derived gear selector.

Manufactured alongside other Grenadier models at INEOS’ Hambach facility in France, the chassis cab variant offers extensive customization potential, catering to diverse customer needs across commercial and leisure sectors.
