Nissan gears up for the 2025 model year GT-R in Japan, unveiling two limited-production variants for the US market: the Skyline Edition and T-spec Takumi Edition. Details regarding their limited availability are forthcoming from the Japanese automaker, known for its enduring halo car since December 2007.
As the 2024 model year wraps up in the US, the T-spec Takumi and Skyline pay homage to distinct legacies. The T-spec Takumi celebrates master craftspeople assembling the VR38DETT engine, featuring a signature plaque and gold vehicle identification plate.
With a striking Midnight Purple exterior and Mori Green interior, it boasts NISMO carbon-ceramic brakes and RAYS forged wheels.
The Skyline Edition, reminiscent of the iconic Skyline GT-Rs, arrives in Bayside Blue over Sora Blue, paying tribute to the discontinued hue.
Limited in quantity, it recalls the GF-BNR34’s heritage, with just under 11,600 units produced. Set to hit showrooms in the summer, both editions are poised to command a premium, with pricing yet to be disclosed by Nissan.
