Introduced in May 2022 for the 2023 model year, the latest Range Rover Sport now offers a special variant for 2024: the Park City Edition. Limited to just seven units, this model pays homage to the Utah city renowned for its prestigious ski resorts.
Priced at $169,000 plus a $1,475 destination charge, this limited-run SUV features a plug-in hybrid six-cylinder engine, a departure from the potent mild-hybrid V8 found in other models. The plug-in setup offers up to 53 miles (85 kilometers) of electric driving range, along with 543 horsepower and 590 pound-feet (800 Nm) of torque.
Despite its electrified powertrain, the Autobiography P550e remains substantial due to its third-gen Range Rover Sport platform, tipping the scales at 6,025 pounds (2,733 kilograms).
Positioned between the Dynamic SE P400 MHEV priced at $90,700 and the SV Edition One P635 MHEV at $180,300, the Autobiography P550e offers impressive performance. With a claimed 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds and a limited top speed of 150 mph (242 km/h), it promises exhilarating driving dynamics.
What sets the Park City Edition apart, justifying its $50,800 premium over the Autobiography P550e? Firstly, it boasts an Ethereal Frost Silver Satin Finish paintjob inspired by the snow-capped mountains of Park City. Additionally, it features a Narvik black roof and 23-inch SV Bespoke wheels with dark gray and carbon-fiber inserts.
Interior enhancements include specific treadplates, deployable side steps, a unique headliner, perforated leather seats, and Light Cloud/Ebony trim pieces, exuding luxury and exclusivity. The package is completed with SV Bespoke satin forged carbon-fiber garnish.
Each Park City Edition customer receives two sets of custom skis from Hinterland, along with a roof ski carrier and Theragun massaging devices. Furthermore, Jaguar Land Rover makes a charitable donation to the Park City Community Foundation for every Park City Edition sold, supporting local initiatives and community development.
