Volvo’s esteemed 40 series receives a stylish upgrade for the 2025 model year with the introduction of the Black Edition. Unveiled by Volvo’s German division, these new variants offer a sleek, all-black aesthetic, epitomizing elegance and sophistication.
Available for the EC40, EX40, and XC40 models, the Black Edition features an Onyx Black exterior finish accentuated by high-gloss black detailing on the roof, window surrounds, and side mirror casings. The grille and corporate emblems also receive a black treatment, enhancing the vehicle’s sleek profile.
Inside, the Black Edition continues the theme with an anthracite-colored headliner and premium upholstery, exuding a sense of refinement and luxury. Equipped with advanced features such as a Harman Kardon sound system, Android Automotive-based infotainment, and keyless entry, the Black Edition offers a premium driving experience.
Customers can choose from various drivetrain options and trim levels to tailor their Black Edition model to their preferences. Pricing starts at €58,090 for the EC40 Plus Black Edition, with availability beginning next month in selected European markets.
