Dubai’s illustrious police fleet has added a new jewel to its crown: the Mansory P720. This enhanced version of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 has commenced its duty of serving and safeguarding the streets of Dubai following a grand delivery event held at the Dubai World Trade Center during the World Police Summit, attended by several local police chiefs and the founder of the tuning company, Mansory.
As expected from Mansory, the P720 exudes extravagance. It features a revamped body kit, bespoke wheels, a substantial power boost, and likely interior enhancements, although detailed images are yet to be released.
Externally, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 P720 showcases widened fender flares, significantly augmenting its presence. Roof attachments, including an add-on above the front windscreen with extra lights and a rear spoiler, contribute to its distinctive appearance.
Aftermarket components adorn the front and rear bumpers, hood, grille, and lighting fixtures. Painted in white with the iconic Dubai Police livery in green, the P720 boasts forged carbon accents, complemented by Y-spoke alloys finished in black with red highlights.
Emergency lights are integrated, along with expected police equipment inside, although Mansory has remained tight-lipped about specific interior modifications. The moniker P720 denotes the power output of this tuned G 63, delivering 720 metric horsepower, equivalent to 710 brake horsepower and 530 kilowatts.
This represents a significant increase over the stock variant’s 577 horsepower from its 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine. The enhanced power enables a 0-62 mph acceleration in 4.5 seconds.
While the P720 is indeed impressive, it’s not Mansory’s pinnacle for the AMG G-Wagen, as they offer even more potent variants like the P850, boasting a whopping 838 horsepower. Nevertheless, the P720 serves as an exceptional addition to Dubai’s police fleet, poised to turn heads alongside other high-end exotics adorned in the iconic Dubai Police livery.
