The 2024 New York Auto Show witnessed the public debut of Infiniti’s latest offering in the full-size luxury SUV segment: the QX80. This all-new model draws inspiration from last year’s QX Monograph Concept, shedding its previous image and embracing a more Interesting design language.
While retaining its boxy silhouette, the new QX80 sports a refreshed appearance with an imposing grille featuring the brand’s emblem and a modern rear end adorned with a full-width light bar. Inside, a high-end cockpit awaits, adorned with a blend of leather, metal, and wood accents, along with ambient lighting and premium amenities.
One of the notable changes lies under the hood, where the 2025 QX80 swaps the previous 5.6-liter V8 for a more efficient 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. Despite the downsizing, the new powerplant delivers a significant power boost, generating 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, paired with a new nine-speed automatic transmission.
Scheduled for a summer release, the 2025 Infiniti QX80 will be available in Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph trim levels, catering to various preferences and budgets. With prices starting at $82,450 plus destination charges, the QX80 competes with rivals like the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator, promising a luxurious and dynamic driving experience.
