GMC is giving us a sneak peek at the 2025 Yukon, showing off the front of the AT4 model. This is just a refresh, so we’re not expecting big changes.
Unlike the current Yukon, the new one will focus more on width rather than a big grille in the middle. The headlights are taller and have a shorter horizontal part at the top. There’s a body-colored piece between the headlights and the grille, and the lower bumper looks more aggressive.
Instead of having a black centerpiece with a skid plate and tow hooks, the whole bumper will be black and wrap around to the fenders. The grille looks similar, but the crossbars inside have been changed.
The new Yukon will likely share updates with its Chevy siblings, the Tahoe and Suburban. It might have improvements to the rear suspension for better handling, new wheels, and a more powerful engine option. Inside, there could be a new instrument panel with a big touchscreen for infotainment, and a column shifter instead of buttons on the console. The materials used might be fancier too.
There could also be cool tech features like Connected Cameras for recording inside and outside the car, and an Interior Motion Detection system to detect movement inside the cabin.
Since GMC has some anniversaries coming up for their AT4 and Denali trims, the Yukon might get some special treatment. We’ll have to wait to see the full reveal, which will come sometime after the new Acadia starts shipping to dealers later this year.
