Bill Goldberg celebrated April Fools’ Day 2024 in style with the delivery of his 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170. A devoted Mopar enthusiast, he opted for a unique Green Machine finish, reserved for select VIP customers. Parked alongside his modern 1,025-horsepower muscle car, Bill decided it was time to awaken an old-school favorite from its slumber.
Despite owning a plethora of classics, Bill’s hectic schedule left many untouched. However, spurred by his new YouTube series, he resurrected a long-dormant gem a 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T acquired at auction in 2008 and stored until now.
Though it briefly saw 30 miles of road time post-purchase, the Coronet spent the ensuing 16 years perched on a lift. Fortunately, proper storage preserved its pristine condition, requiring only minor carburetor adjustments for optimal performance.
This Coronet R/T is a rare find, boasting a 440-cubic-inch Six-Pack V8 engine beneath its hood one of only 194 produced. Paired with an automatic Torqueflite gearbox, this powerhouse delivers exhilarating performance.
Finished in triple black, this Coronet stands out as one of just 18 configured in this striking color combination. With its impressive heritage and potent performance, Bill’s Coronet is poised to dominate classic car events nationwide.
While the allure of modern muscle electrification grows, the timeless appeal of classics like the Coronet remains undeniable. As Dodge continues to innovate with models like the 2024 Charger Daytona, featuring cutting-edge electric propulsion, the legacy of iconic muscle cars endures.
