Bizzarini achieved an impressive feat with the production of 24 5300 GT Corsa Revival Edition Cars in just 24 months, showcasing the brand’s enduring legacy. The final unit, painted in Verde Bosco Ventiquattro (Forest Green Twenty-four), has been delivered, exuding a fascinating presence.
This latest iteration of the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival Edition features a unique specification to commemorate the completion of the Revival series, initiated by the brand two years ago. Based on the victorious car from the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans, this limited hand-built continuation series has concluded.
The chosen color for this car holds a fascinating narrative. A generous American collector granted Bizzarrini’s bespoke team access to his award-winning original example, allowing them to meticulously replicate its shade for the Revival Car.
The process mirrored the approach taken for previous examples finished in Bizzarrini Rosso Corsa. The team successfully located an original panel from the Le Mans class-winning car, preserving its authentic color.
Each example of the Revival series is meticulously crafted with a lightweight, single-piece composite body mounted on a steel frame. Compliance with FIA Appendix K regulations ensures occupant safety with features like a six-point roll cage and safety fuel cell.
Powering the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival Edition is a period-specific front-mid-mounted 5.3-liter V8 engine, delivering over 400 horsepower. This results in a power-to-weight ratio comparable to modern supercars.
Equipped with an independent rear suspension meeting Giotto’s innovative Corsa specification and all-around disc brakes, the vehicle offers exceptional performance and handling characteristics.
The Bizzarrini team hand-built one bespoke 5300 GT Corsa Revival per month at its facility in the United Kingdom. As the brand inches closer to the launch of the all-new Giotto hypercar, named after its founder, enthusiasts anticipate another chapter in Bizzarrini’s storied history.
Emphasizing authenticity, rarity, practicality, and luxury, the upcoming Bizzarrini Giotto represents another step in the brand’s resurgence. In 2020, Pegasus Brands acquired the rights to the Bizzarrini name, becoming the exclusive distributor of Bizzarrini products worldwide.
