Lingenfelter and Paragon have joined forces to offer a supercharger package for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, promising a substantial boost in power and torque. Priced at $35,000 including installation, the package features the Magnuson TVS2650 blower with a three-year warranty. Enhancements include a larger 95-millimeter throttle body, recalibration of the V8 engine’s control unit through the C-Cal process, and an intercooler system.
Additionally, the package includes upgraded valvetrain components, a trunnion kit from CHE Precision, and new pistons from Mahle GmbH. It’s compatible with both the E-Ray coupe and convertible, although it’s pending CARB approval, meaning it can’t be used in California.
Lingenfelter Performance Engineering claims over 730 wheel horsepower, with dyno testing confirming 734.27 wheel horsepower and 792.66 pound-feet of torque. Factoring in drivetrain losses, the estimated crankshaft output exceeds 864 horsepower and 932 pound-feet of torque. Despite the hybrid nature of the E-Ray, the supercharger package delivers impressive performance improvements.
While the enhanced E-Ray commands a premium price of $141,595 for the 1LZ Coupe, it offers exceptional performance compared to its predecessors. However, it faces stiff competition from upcoming models like the C8-generation ZR1, which is expected to offer similar performance at a potentially lower cost.
