Dodge engineered the Challenger Demon 170 with a singular purpose: dominating the quarter-mile track. Its mission is clear – to claim victory after victory in drag races, leaving its 3,300 fortunate owners with a trail of triumphs. This beast wasn’t crafted for mundane tasks like school runs or grocery shopping – it’s all about the thrill of the race.

With its bold motto, “1,025 hp. Zero BS.”, the Demon 170 proudly stands as the pinnacle of HEMI-powered muscle cars. It’s the first stock muscle car to break the 1,000-horsepower barrier, but it requires E85 fuel to unleash its full potential. Without it, its power fluctuates between 797 hp and 707 lb-ft on regular gasoline or 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft on E10.

However, the Demon was not intended to play a supporting role in the advancement of low-octane fuels. At the dragstrip, it unleashes all its power and cunning, ready to take on any challenger – even the mighty Ferrari 812 Superfast. Two epic showdowns captured by drag-racing YouTuber Herman Young showcase the Demon’s relentless pursuit of victory.

In a previous encounter, Hennessey Performance dared to challenge the Demon, only to suffer a resounding defeat. This time, however, the Demon is fully unleashed, armed with its monstrous power. Despite the Ferrari’s impressive specs – a 789 hp naturally-aspirated V12 – the Demon proves to be a formidable opponent.

With its overwhelming power and torque, the Demon leaves the Ferrari in its dust, effortlessly conquering the quarter-mile track. Even when the Ferrari gains a slight advantage in the second run, the Demon charges ahead with unmatched ferocity, leaving no doubt about its dominance on the dragstrip.
