While the exact power output and torque figures of its electric motor(s) have yet to be fully disclosed, preliminary hints suggest that it will utilize an innovative all-electric platform. Beneath its sleek exterior, the Ocean-M incorporates BYD’s advanced Blade battery pack, with power being directed to the rear wheels. This configuration aligns it with esteemed counterparts like the Cupra Born and Volkswagen ID.3 GTX, alongside the esteemed first-generation BMW 1 Series.
In a groundbreaking move, BYD introduced its cutting-edge e-Platform 3.0 last year, designed to accommodate electric vehicles with extraordinary ranges of up to 1000km while delivering impressive acceleration figures.
