Towards the end of last year, Everlast, a custom car company, stepped into the limelight with the announcement of aftermarket upgrade packages for the EX30, Volvo’s compact SUV. This move, uncommon in the industry, intrigued many enthusiasts and signaled a shift in the customization world.
The EX30, Volvo’s entry into the electric SUV market, debuted in the summer of the previous year, marking the brand’s venture into an emerging segment. With its sleek design and electric powertrain options, Volvo aimed to capture a significant share of the market, anticipating strong demand in the years ahead.
Equipped with various battery configurations, including single-motor and dual-motor setups, the EX30 promised versatility and performance tailored to different driving needs. However, Everlast saw an opportunity to enhance the SUV’s appeal further with their aftermarket upgrades.
Partnering with Heritage Customs, renowned for their innovative Land Rover modifications, Everlast introduced two distinct upgrade packages for the EX30: Sport and Outland. The Sport package, the focus of attention, aimed to raise the SUV’s aesthetics and performance.
The Sport package included cosmetic enhancements such as color-matched body elements and bright orange accents, creating a dynamic and sporty appearance. Additionally, customers could choose from two exclusive wheel designs, each offering a unique aesthetic appeal.
Beyond visual upgrades, Everlast aimed to enhance the EX30’s driving dynamics by offering a lowered sport suspension option. This modification not only improved handling but also provided a more aggressive stance, distinguishing the upgraded models from their factory counterparts.
With pre-orders already open for the Sport package, Everlast signaled a new era of customization for Volvo’s electric SUV. While pricing was set at around 10,000 euros, the prospect of personalized upgrades added a layer of exclusivity to the EX30 ownership experience.
As Everlast showcased the first builds featuring the Sport package, enthusiasts eagerly awaited the opportunity to tailor their EX30 to their preferences, further solidifying Volvo’s position in the electric vehicle market.
