Sant’Agata Bolognese, home to Lamborghini, revealed the Urus SE, touted as the most powerful series-production internal combustion SUV. Succeeding the Urus S and Urus Performante, the Urus SE shared the spotlight with the 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, its German counterpart in the segment.
Set to debut at the Beijing Auto Show, the 2025 Urus SE boasted visual enhancements over its predecessors, including matrix-style LED headlights inspired by a bull’s tail and design cues reminiscent of Lamborghini’s iconic models. The interior showcased a range of customization options, offering over 47 themes and 100 paint choices through the Ad Personam program.
Performance-wise, the Urus SE featured a plug-in hybrid powertrain delivering 800 PS and 950 Nm of torque, with an electric-only driving range exceeding 60 kilometers. Its top speed of 312 kilometers per hour and acceleration from 0-100 kph in 3.4 seconds reaffirmed its status as a high-performance SUV.
Built on the MLB Evo platform, shared with the Porsche Cayenne, the Urus SE combined Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. With a starting price of $258,000 in the United States, the Urus SE targeted discerning customers seeking unparalleled performance and luxury in the SUV segment.
As Lamborghini continued to push the boundaries of automotive engineering, the Urus SE represented a culmination of power, design, and innovation, setting new standards for the industry.
