Genesis is making changes to its popular GV70 SUV for the 2026 model year. They’re not big changes, but they’re enough to notice. The most noticeable changes are on the front of the car. The grille now has a different design with shiny accents. The headlights also look different, and the front bumper is wider with a shiny piece that looks like a skid plate.
In the back, there are some small changes, too. The lights have been redesigned to include turn signals. The cameras for the rear-view and digital mirror are now hidden under the spoiler on the roof. The GV70 also gets new wheels that are 19 inches in size and have a special finish.
In some places, customers can choose a Sport package. This adds a different grille, bigger air intakes in the front, a dark chrome rear diffuser, and bigger 21-inch wheels. Inside, the biggest change is a big screen. It’s 27 inches wide and combines the instrument cluster and the infotainment system into one display.
The center console has been redesigned, too. The top part has touch-sensitive buttons and a volume knob, while the climate control buttons are now on a separate touch-sensitive screen.
There haven’t been any changes to the engines, though. The GV70 still comes with either a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 300 horsepower or a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 375 horsepower. Both engines come with all-wheel drive.
The updated Genesis GV70 will be available in South Korea starting in May 2024. It’s not clear when it will go on sale in the United States, but it’s expected to be available for the 2026 model year.
