In regions like Australia, Europe, and the United Kingdom, the refreshed Kia Picanto serves as the smallest member of the Kia family, celebrating two decades since its introduction. The fourth-generation Picanto, revealed in July 2023, boasts a distinctive design, particularly in the GT-Line trim.
Now available in the UK, the Picanto lineup starts from £15,595, offering simplicity and affordability compared to larger Kia models. The UK lineup comprises the Picanto 2, Picanto GT-Line, Picanto 3, and Picanto GT-Line S, featuring a choice of two gasoline engines and one transmission option. Orders are currently open, with deliveries scheduled for July, marking one year since the fourth-generation’s global reveal.
Sporting design cues from recent Kia releases, the Picanto features vertical headlights, a double lightbar treatment, and a modern interior equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an 8-inch touchscreen navigation system, and various charging ports.
Powering the Picanto are two engine options: a 1.0-liter with 62 horsepower and a 1.2-liter with 77 horsepower, both mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Optional features include LED lighting, alloy wheels, automatic AC, and a sunroof, with prices ranging from £15,595 to £19,145 for the range-topping GT-Line S variant.
