Following last year’s facelift, Volkswagen has introduced further enhancements to the ID.3, revealing the refreshed ID.3 Pro S. This model boasts faster charging capabilities, increased power, and an upgraded infotainment system, aligning it with the features of the ID.7.

Under the hood, the 2024 Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S delivers 228 horsepower, a significant improvement over its predecessor’s 201 horsepower. This boost in power translates to quicker acceleration, with the ID.3 Pro S achieving a 0-62 mph (100 kph) time of 7.1 seconds, thanks to its “power-on-demand” option available in European markets.

The 77 kWh battery pack has also undergone refinements, now featuring a pre-conditioning function that optimizes battery temperature for faster charging. With a charging capacity of up to 175 kW, the ID.3 Pro S offers reduced charging times, enhancing the whole driving experience.

Internally, the 2024 ID.3 Pro S is equipped with a new infotainment system shared with the ID.7. The 12.9-inch touchscreen features an intuitive menu structure, complemented by an improved multifunction steering wheel and driving mode selector. Additionally, the IDA voice assistant and AI capabilities enhance the vehicle’s connectivity and convenience.

Other notable features include the Wellness app, designed to enhance passenger well-being during travel, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system with customizable audio settings. Enhanced safety systems, including Travel Assist and Park Assist Plus, further raise the driving experience, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey for occupants.

While pricing details have not been disclosed, the 2024 Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S promises to offer an improved driving experience, blending performance, technology, and sustainability in a compact package.
