Genesis Motor North America has confirmed the starting price of the 2025 GV80 facelift at $57,700, excluding the $1,350 destination freight charge. However, discrepancies between the stated starting MSRP in the press release and the configurator have raised questions about standard equipment and availability.

The GV80 2.5T Standard AWD, priced at $57,700, is expected to become available later in the summer, while the $58,700 GV80 2.5T AWD will be the most affordable specification at launch. Despite the $1,000 price difference, the latter offers additional standard features such as a heated steering wheel, temporary spare tire, 110-volt power outlet for second-row occupants, manual sunshades for rear side windows, and Genesis Digital Key.

Standard features in the GV80 2.5T Standard AWD include self-leveling rear suspension, power-folding mirrors with puddle lamps, leatherette seating surfaces, heated power front seats, wireless device charger, and smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The fine print indicates late availability for wireless connectivity features.

Both variants are powered by a four-cylinder turbo engine and feature all-wheel drive. The GV80 lineup also includes higher trim levels like the 3.5T Prestige AWD, which offers additional luxury and performance enhancements at a higher price point.

Built on the rear-biased platform of the G80 sedan, the GV80 SUV utilizes an eight-speed automatic transmission. While the four-cylinder variant delivers 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, the twin-turbocharged six-cylinder option offers improved performance with 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque.

Despite its impressive features, the GV80 faces stiff competition from German luxury SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and BMW X6. While pricing for the GV80 Coupe remains undisclosed, it is expected to rival its German counterparts in both performance and luxury.
