Not all Liberty Walk body kits are created equal. Take, for instance, the LB-WORKS LAND CRUISER 300 featured in the photo gallery. This model is part of three series of body kits manufactured by the Japanese company.
LB-Works denotes a full-body kit, while LB-Performance signifies kits that stay true to the original design concept without widening the body.
The LB-Nation series, exclusive to domestic marques like the Japanese automaker producing the 300-series Land Cruiser in Aichi’s Yoshiwara plant, may omit fender flares. Distinguishing the 300, the largest Land Cruiser Station Wagon, from the Heavy Duty variant, the J70-series Land Cruiser is crucial.
The LB-Works widebody kit for the 300 offers three configurations in either FRP or CFRP materials: Light, Full, and Premium. Notably, the hood, crafted from pre-preg carbon fiber, commands the highest price among individual parts.
Despite its unavailability in the United States due to the lukewarm sales of the 200 series and the Lexus LX 600 based on the Land Cruiser 300, the off-road SUV commands a starting price of 5,100,000 yen in Japan.
Additionally, the JDM-spec Land Cruiser offers a 3.3L twin-turbo V6 diesel, generating 305 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque from 1,600 rpm, alongside a 4.0-liter V6 option sourced from the Toyota 4Runner. These variants, coupled with advanced features and performance enhancements, position the Land Cruiser 300 as a formidable contender in the SUV segment.
