Recently revealed, this Batur Convertible marks the third coachbuilt Bentley of the modern era. Following the Bacalar, this model continues the legacy, with only 16 units set for production. Capturing the essence of open-air Grand Touring in a progressive design, Mulliner collaborates with select customers to personalize each creation, showcasing the latest in customization options.
A two-door, two-seat configuration with a retractable roof, the Batur Convertible embodies Bentley’s DNA. Customers can expect additional personalization options such as the ‘airbridge’ and Rose Gold interior detailing.
Powered by a hand-assembled 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine, delivering 740 horsepower, this convertible inherits the performance pedigree of its predecessors.
The retractable soft-top, respecting traditional cabriolet aesthetics, stows in just 19 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph (48 kph). Inside, the cabin features highly exclusive 3D-printed rose gold accents on various controls, enhancing the bespoke experience.
Presented as the engineering development car, Batur Convertible Car #0 showcases the W12 engine paired with an eight-speed double-clutch transmission, titanium sports exhaust, and 3D-printed exhaust tips. Adorned in Vermillion Gloss over Vermillion Satin paintwork with carbon fiber accents, this exemplar hints at the luxury and performance synonymous with Bentley’s heritage.
