In 1963, the automotive world welcomed a two-seat roadster that would transcend time to become an icon: the Mercedes-Benz SL W113. Serving as a successor to the 300 SL and 190 SL, this model epitomized luxury and innovation, boasting various inline-six-cylinder engines and pioneering safety features.

Production spanned eight years until 1971, with nearly 49,000 units produced, a substantial portion reaching the U.S. Celebrities, including John Lennon and Audrey Hepburn, favored its design and comfort, cementing its status as a timeless classic.

Despite its revered status, the customization of the Mercedes-Benz SL W113 poses challenges, demanding the preservation of its original appeal and value. UK-based Everrati, renowned for electrifying classic cars, offers a solution that retains the SL’s essence while modernizing its interior and powertrain.

Everrati’s electro-mod conversion preserves the SL’s iconic silhouette while enhancing the interior with period-appropriate or luxurious leather options, discreetly integrating modern amenities like Bluetooth audio.

Structural integrity remains intact despite replacing the engine with an electric drivetrain. This conversion offers advantages, including improved chassis response and performance.

Customers can choose between a 54.4 kWh or 68 kWh battery pack, providing a range of 160 miles or 200+ miles, respectively, coupled with 296 electric horsepower.

This conversion, priced at £330,000 ($412,000), ensures the Mercedes-Benz SL W113 remains a cherished classic with modern functionality, with the option of reverting to its original state.
